International travelers who wish to visit Turkey for a short stay, sightseeing, holidaying or to attend business meetings are to obtain an e-Visa in order to enter and travel across the country.

The Turkish e-Visa is an official document provided to the visitors by the Government of Turkey in order to facilitate them with the right to access the Turkish territory. The whole procedure is completely online in nature wherein the applicants can apply for the Turkish visa from the comfort of their homes or anywhere with an internet connection and it saves a great amount of time and stress that you would otherwise spend on visa applications at Turkish missions or at the ports of entry into Turkey (if you are eligible).

The Turkish e-Visa also comes with an additional advantage that an applicant is exempted from providing physical documents to the Government of Turkey, as the whole procedure is electronic. At most the applicants are to submit the soft copies of the documents along with the application form provided on the website. After the successful submission of the application, the e-Visa approval is directly e mailed to the email address provided by the applicant.
